Finally, I have finished and mastered all elements of my blog. All appropriate headings have been made to ensure a smooth running blog. For those that need the URL it is http://randomunitproductionsasmediaasg321.yolasite.com/
The final production of 'The Nerd Bully' can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8koPTa50fI
After more than 50 days of tiring work, I am glad with mine and Jacks final outcome, both seeing the good and bad sides to filming. A gag reel might be needed to explain the full extent of the production, as it shows just how hard it is to get a perfect take, as neither of us are actors nor professional cameramen. We now both see the easy and hard sides to media production, and the extent of work and time needed, as our production is only 2 minutes long, and one ponders how hard a whole film must take.
Overall I've enjoyed the experience, with an exceptionally good feedback response from our film, which shows its not only successful, but a popular and humorous one, which we intended in the beginning. I shall look back at the production with pride, and I can honestly say I made it.
Please enjoy the film. Peace out from Craig Goodwin & Jack Coward

Today was a good day for me and Jack. We have finished editing and mastering of the film, and now we are concentrating on our blogs. It has been a long and tiring process due to the fact there has only been me and jack to film, process, edit and master. We are both happy with the outcome, and think it has been a successful operation. The film can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8koPTa50fI and has also been uploaded the the videos section. Now onto the evaluation and the final touche... Continue reading...

Today me and jack nearly completed the editing part of our film, but our major problem was cutting down the huge amounts of film in which we made, though we were happy to search through lots of footage to find the right scene, than not having enough takes. Slight problem with the colour which me and jack bled out, showing a stronger contrast to the original raw footage. Still to do: - Jacks Narration
- Special Effects on the fighting scene
- More Editing
- Final run-down and review from Mr O Hara
Hopefully... Continue reading...

At last! Filming is done. I had to play the role of a bully named Brendon (apparently I play a very intimidating character) who intimidates Percy (Jack) into giving him his lunch money. Percy doesn't concur, so i have to pretend punch jack, an extremely had task to do, although I think I may have clipped and broke his glasses whilst doing so, in which was accidental but makes the clip look very effective. Editing on Thursday :D Continue reading...

As its the Easter holidays, I thought I'd best do a blog update, as my previous entry stated we would be filming next Tuesday, but not realising it was Easter, it seemed wrong not to mention it in the two weeks I have off. As filming is jolted through the holidays, I can only add to my blog, in which soon I'll be uploading my script analysis of 'Superbad'. Off to Enjoy Easter, peace out... Continue reading...

Due to Jack forgetting his costume, we were forced to edit what footage we had, as we could not film. This was cut short though, as another group needed to use the i-mac computer which had they're footage on, so we were forced once again to carry on with our blogs. Finished analysing the script for youth in revolt today, which I will be uploading very soon. Hopefully we can begin filming the last scene for our film next Tuesday, which will give us plenty of time to edit and master. Continue reading...

Today we finished filming, in which I punch Jack and he turns into a 'psycho maniac' and turns around and has supernatural powers and defends himself as 'The Nerd Bully'. This however became a problem through editing as it wasn't a strong enough scene to capture the audiences attention. Plus we had temperamental problems with the fire-wire cable used, so we decided to call it a day on editing and focus more on our blogs. More on Thursday :) Continue reading...

Today we hired the camera and tripod to film the tricky scene in which jack is shaving. The problem we faced was keeping the camera still at such a high level, which, with a bit of duck tape was successful in the end. I also took pictures of the location, in which I will put on my blog soon. We also realised we could not film the scene in which jack gets run over by a car, due to health and safety, and the fact jacks mum was unavailable at the times me and jack could film. We have changed the... Continue reading...

Today filming continued at school filming Jack walking through the door, opening it for two girls for whom call him a 'dirty virgin'. This proved difficult as we couldn't find anyone willing to do so, until Jack plucked up the courage to ask some girls. They obliged and we got the footage. We also managed to film the I.T room scene, in which jack had to walk in and find a seat only for a girl to put her bag on it. So far so good :D Continue reading...

Filming began today on the scenes in which Jack has to walk down the stairs. We shot this from various angles, to ensure we had a lot of footage to edit. Continue reading...
